About Islamic Outreach Project (IOP)

Islamic Outreach Project (IOP) is a UK-based charity (Charity No. 1186933) dedicated to sharing the authentic message of Islam with the wider community. Our aim is to promote understanding, dialogue, and social harmony by providing clear information and encouraging meaningful conversations.

Our Objectives
We seek to advance the Islamic faith in the UK for the benefit of the public by:

  • Producing and distributing literature, hosting seminars, and engaging in outreach and interfaith activities.

  • Supporting the spiritual and moral education of children through advice, guidance, and enriching educational and recreational programmes.

  • Contributing to a better society by promoting mutual respect, understanding, and social cohesion.

Our Invitation
IOP welcomes people of all faiths and no faith to take a thoughtful journey toward understanding the truth of our creation and the purpose of life. We encourage an open-minded approach guided by objectivity and the principle: “To see things as they really are, not as we want to see them.”

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about Islam—free of charge. That’s why all our print materials, including the English translation of the Qur’an, are distributed completely free.

Over the past 15 years, IOP has:

  • Conducted 1000+ community engagement stalls across the UK.

  • Distributed 200,000+ copies of the Qur’an in English.

  • Shared more than a million books and leaflets with the wider community.

All of this has been done with the aim of dispelling misconceptions about Islam and promoting a better understanding between people of different faiths and beliefs.

But there is still so much more to do. With a population of over 60 million in the UK, we need your help and support to continue this mission and reach as many people as possible.
